  • 2019 Solitude 374TH - Tank locations?

I would like to be able to access the gate valves on my holding tanks so I was planning on adding inspection panels by cutting the coro in the appropriate locations rather than dropping the entire belly on our trailer.
I reached out to GD and they were kind enough to send a plumbing schematic but unfortunately it doesn't have any location information.
Does anyone have a locations diagram or drawing of the tank locations for our rig?
    Thanks -Rob-

Looking at the drawings that I have access to I do not have any dimensions that would tell you exactly where the tanks are. I can tell you that it looks like the tanks start at the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom an go forward. The tanks are side by side , at the wall is the first grey tank then the black tank and then the second grey for the kitchen. I am purely guessing that at the drain pipe on the outside this would go to the middle tank being the black tank and the 2 grey tanks would "Y" into that drain. All valves will be on the same side in a line. I wish I could give you numbers but I do not have them. You could remove some of the belly screws on that side and take a peak in to see where they will be. These are probably located right around the wheels and axels so that will add some spice to the project.

d2reid , Dallas has a 374TH I think maybe he has this knowledge already.

Rob KamFlyer - Ken orbiker has a 374. Possibly Ken will chime in and share any knowledge he may have on this. And yes, as Brian shared, Dallas does have a 376 Momentum rather than a Solitude 374 but since the floor plans are mirror images maybe Dallas will chime in too.

I have not been into the belly of the beast. I have not really paid attention as to what grey handle does which tank. Most of the time both handles are open and the Valhalla valve at the exit is shut. I would also bet, that whoever mounts the handles to the wall, does not pay attention to which one goes where.
I'm just glad that our 2018 374TH-R Solitude only has 1 exit for all the waste water. It's got to suck to have 2 drains areas.

          Hi Rob,

I think you will regret cutting holes in the underbelly rather than dropping one end of the coroplast. Particularly when working on gate valves, it is almost impossible to service one without loosening the others to get some play in the drain piping. If you plan to replace pull cables at the same time . . . even wider access is required. There are many reports of the difficulties getting the cut openings to stay closed . . . whether you use just tape or taped on zippers. Dropping and reinstalling the coroplast is one of those things that sounds more daunting than it turns out to be. (Just my 2 cents worth)

KamFlyer , Couple of threads you might find interesting.

            https://gdrvowners.com/forum/operati...r-drain-valves

On the second thread, it is still a work in process. Not completely happy with the way I have the coupon secured as far as water tightness and ease of access. Thinking about going to industrial grade velco.

As far as the location of the drain valves on your rig. Can't help you much there. I was able to locate mine fairly well by pushing up on the corplast. If you do decide to go this route you do want to be generous with the size of the opening, or openings, for all the reasons stated by Cate & Rob.
