  • Freshwater Tank

We have been on city hook up since we purchased our camper. We have a trip coming up, so I decided to sanitize the freshwater tank. It went pretty straight forward till I tried to fill it. I heard water draining so I thought the tank was full. Wrong. Water was coming out around the drain valve. Pulled the coroplast loose enough to investigate. See pic.
Looks like a call to GD Tuesday. Just glad we found it now. Click image for larger version

@M&K337 We have a 2021 2600RB and recently had the fresh water tank replaced due to a leak around the drain valve. Evidently there are a number of tanks out there with poorly installed drain valves that leak where they are spun into the tank. On my computer it is not clear what is showing in the pic, is there no valve at all? It took 4 months for a new tank to arrive for the replacement. It took about 4 hours for the work at the dealer and 2 hours at home to correct their poor replacement of the corroplast. Good luck.

flyfshrockies We can fill our tank about 3/4 full. That picture is street side upper part of tank near a corner at the front. I was taking photos blind to get it. Stuck my phone up between the coroplast and the frame. About 15 shots I got maybe 3 that hit the target. Drain valve works great though!!!!!
I think the over fill protection on this tank is a little overkill.

@m&k337 I guess you could try eternabond tape on the slit if you need to travel with the tank full. https://www.amazon.com/Eternabond-EB.../dp/B00GR7GWT8 I think that stuff will stick to Teflon. Otherwise, if you don't need to take water with you, the tank can stay dry.
