Does anyone know if you have to use a particular shower head due to pressure considerations? We have pretty low pressure in the shower and you have to run around to get wet, I know that there are shower heads that will increase pressure coming out, don't know if it builds pressure in the lines. It just says the the head increases pressure.

The only ways to increase pressure are with a pump, or something that expands (like the bubble in the old HWH tanks). A shower head cannot make pressure unless it's powered.
I went to an https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Does not increase pressure, but has a bit higher flow with better head jets. Also got lucky that I could use the same metal flex line that was already in the camper vs the one they supplied.Joseph

We use an Oxygenics but the simpler version, https://www.amazon.com/Oxygenics-Whi...e%2C170&sr=1-3Last edited by BillinTexas; 08-21-2022, 08:36 AM.Bill & Cindy

941cowboy Looking at the head you posted. The FAN can actually cause a decrease in water flow and pressure (water flow moves the fan). Also note that it has filters in the handle that will be a restriction. Anything in the flow path of the water that is not a pump will cause a restriction and decrease flow. Their claim of smaller jets will result in a perceived increase in pressure, but this is false. It will result in an increase in velocity of the water exiting the jets provided there is enough flow to support the increase in number of jets.Joseph

Also agree the Oxygenics Fury has improved our shower experience. As stated it raises velocity at the shower head which is not a result from increased pressure but in actuality reduced pressure at the jets. Its the smaller cross sectional area of each jet that decreases pressure which raises velocity. Since the Oxygenics has more jets, the flow is about the same but the experience is improved.
I performed a bucket test on the Oxygenics to the original shower head in our Imagine and the Oxygenics actually flowed slightly less water. I also opened up the restrictor at the faucet to be sure any restrictions were at the shower head alone.
