    Hi Folks:

If this topic has already been addressed, I apologise and ask that someone point me to the appropriate thread or threads. Anyhow, here we go.

I am a brand new owner of a 2019 Imaging 2500RL trailer. I am also new to the travel trailer lifestyle. I am still trying to understand and learn the basic operations and intricacies of operating and maintaining the various water tanks. Unfortunately, the owner's manual is a bit confusing to me. The first question I have, is there a set of schematics showing the layout of the plumbing system? (and the electrical system, for that matter). I am a visual type of person and drawings help me considerably. The second question, is there a good, reliable set of videos that can walk me through the care and maintenance of my plumbing system? I have looked at numerous Youtube videos, but perhaps someone know of a definitive provider.

Again, If this has been beaten to death, I apologise. But I can use all the help I can get right now.

    Thanks in advance.

    Tom

teknapp . Sorry there are no public drawings available. You can call Grand Design with your VIN and they'll share what they have but they'll ask that you keep them private. Be warned that they'll not be particularly useful and will not resemble anything close to what you'd expect a set of schematics to look like.

As for videos Lippert has some great ones on their components that I'd recommend starting with.

teknapp I can understand your interest in wanting to know the layout of the plumbing and electrical, but as mentioned, it's doubtful you will find or get what you might expect. Maybe start by asking some specific questions on the forum, and go from there. I'm not sure if your trailer has the Nautilus plumbing panel or not, so that would make a difference in explaining the different aspects of the plumbing system.

As far as maintenance to the tanks, there's not much with the grey tanks. The fresh water tank needs to be periodically sanitized with a bleach solution. The black tank needs to be periodically cleaned out using the onboard rinse, or by filling with water before dumping. The monitoring system in the trailer for determining tank levels seldom work due to coating build up on the sensors, so don't take the readings too seriously.

This is just basic info, so good luck with your search.
