  • Using combination gas/electric water heater

I just purchased a 2017 imagine 2150rb. It has a combination gas/electric water heater that can be used separately or together. I was wondering if I could leave the electric side on continuously and just turn on the gas in the evenings for showers and then turn off again.

Welcome to our owners technical forum. It is absolutely no problem to run electric and propane heating at the same time. We do exactly as you describe . . . leave electric on all the time (when we are at the trailer) and turn on propane when we need faster heating (such as two showers).
