  • Water won't come out of hot water side of faucets

We woke up this morning to no water coming out of the hot water side of the faucets. It is snowing and was in the single digits last night. Can the cold weather play a part? We are not very mechanically inclined to we need some help with what places we should be checking first to find a fix. We have a 346FLS.

Thanks so much for your help.

I would guess that the low point drains have frozen. There is one each for hot and cold water with a plug at the end. Try a hair dryer to thaw it out and see if the hot water returns. If you are on shore water turn the water off and remove a plug to see if it is frozen, if on pump in the RV turn the pump off. The low point drains should be below the water heater area under the RV.

We just had the same problem. The check valve on the back of the water heater was stuck closed.

If possible try putting the water system in Hot water heater bypass mode. This will let you know if it is the check valve or a frozen line.
