We’re boondocking near Mammoth and are having a mouse problem. Dennis has been shooting foam in various small openings where mice might be able to get thru to the storage areas and thereby into the interior of our Reflection. What we’re wondering is if the opening you see in the photo where the slide out ram goes in and out provides access to mice? He’s assuming foaming that area is not recommended. Does anyone here know or have some ideas on how to stop access short of foaming it?

Chiefblueman -- you sealed this on your 315, didn't you? I forget what you used...Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. You are going to need some form of "mouse repellent". Either chemical or sonic. A mouse can get through a hole the size of a dime. Trying to plug every opening down to smaller than this size would be a daunting task. Our "solution" can't control them in the underbelly (although they seem to sense that our trailer is not a safe place for them) . . . and they certainly don't come inside .

Thanks for all the input. Dennis sprayed foam everywhere he could as well as set up a bucket of water outside with a trap and so far he's caught a few mice and we haven't had anymore inside. Hopefully that will do the trick until we head home.Dennis & Phyllis Manley
