  • 2019 Momentum 351M Wheel cracked

Happy New Year! We are using the TireMinder TPMS which, yesterday, began indicating a slow leak (from 110 lbs pressure to 60 lbs). Fortunately, we were close to our destination campground and managed to get situated safely. Expecting a tire puncture, a local tire service came to take the tire/wheel to be repaired. Interestingly, the tire was perfect but the 16" JFW wheel had a small crack, causing the pressure to slowly decline. I'm now running on the spare steel wheel/new tire. Has anyone experienced this kind of failure? How easy/difficult is it to replace one of the aluminum wheels?

I've read of wheel cracks/failures, but they are not common. Give Lions Head (wheel OEM) a call at 574-533-6169. Should be easy to get it replaced at no charge.

Just had the same issue on a GD 2020 349M. What path did you take to get it resolved?

As Howard stated above, if an owner calls Lions Head, they should get a replacement. Also, e-Trailer sells most trailer wheels if Lions Head won't cooperate.
