The built in generator in our Solitude 384 GKR is located in the front storage compartment, directly under the bedroom. The generator tailpipe extends under the enclosed underbelly and ends under the driver side bedroom slide. Is it safe to run the generator overnight or is there a risk of CO?

Is it a factory installed Onan? If so you should be good. I had my dealer install one in my 375 and they didn't get the prep box sealed up properly and ran the exhaust out at an angle. It set off the carbon monoxide alarm after a few minutes of run time. I took it back and they sealed the generator box properly and used the factory exhaust from GD and all is good now. Yes you can run it overnight, it's designed for that. I would get a good carbon monoxide detector from Home Depot and leave it in the bedroom out of the way as a safety precaution.
