It's not there for "consumer" use. It's to disconnect the gas line from the slide if they ever need to remove it.

Ok thanks. Ill look closer. I was looking on the curb side. To me would make a little more sense for outdoor cooking.

There is one quick disconnect on the street side. My assumption is that it is there in case the kitchen slide needs to come out and the gas line can be disconnected.

When time allows for me to get around to it, I'm going to add it after the regulator. Two reasons. I won't need a regulator for the bbq or the fire pit, and two, I'm drawing on the tank in use. If I'm running off the street side tank, that's the tank I want to draw off. That way when it's empty and I switch, I'm switching to a full tank, not a partially or mostly used tank.
