@yoda--a bit of soldering and then tying in to a 13v to 3v transformer. Stole this from ncitro ... he may have more info (sorry limited as I'm still on the road).

I just added these to my rig and hardwired them. If you plan to hardwire there is no point in getting the ones with the Monitor, just get the sensors. Then pickup a 12v to 3v DC to DC as Howard said. Solder some 2 conductor wire from the sensor to the converter and then wire the converter to your DC sub panel.

Yoda David and Howard pretty much covered it but yeah I connected mine to a 12v to 3v transformer. I found not only did I not need to worry about changing batteries, the Bluetooth performance was actually significantly better when hard wired.
I took small two conductor wire and soldered it directly to the contact points for the watch cell battery. Then connected those wires to the power supply. Works like a dream. I stole the idea from another site when I saw them use it for their Level Mate Pro.Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. Thanks everyone. Per web information the sensors are not waterproof - Any issues being exposed on the tank bottom? Also it appears they have a new model https://www.mopeka.com/product/mopek...pro-lp-sensor/ but no IP rating information or if it uses a battery.

No I've had no issue with mine being exposed. I think they're out of direct water contact where they're located.Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself.
