I have a GD3018RLTS315travel trailer. I was wondering what I have to do to make it solar. There is a plug at the storage door on the back. They said it was solar ready but I don't have any information on an inverter and do not see anything in my book about it either.

I *think* that plug is proprietary to Furrion, so double-check before buying any "suitcase" setup.
Regarding an inverter...that's a totally separate system that can be used in a solar setup but is not required for a solar setup.
I suspect at this point in your journey there's a lot of confusion about "solar" and how to determine your needs vs wants vs budget constraints. For $15 I urge you to get Will Prowse's book and read through it as many times as required to get a foundational understanding of the issues. https://www.amazon.com/Mobile-Solar-...6365220&sr=8-1
@TucsonJim's Solar 101 presentation (he gives this at GD Rallies) is also a good place to start: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/solar/r...4-solar-101-v4
Finally, if you want to see what I've done on my 315RLTS see this thread: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/solar/1...n-2019-315rlts
