Victron Energy GX Touch 50 extension cables

I came up short....not my height either, but it fits.

Thought I would post this question separate from my MultiPlus install. I am getting down to the Touch 50 screen wiring, etc.. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel - just hope its not the express headed toward me.

I need to extend the cabling on my Touch 50 screen to reach the Cerbo GX. It appears to be a standard HDMI and USB cable with male ends attached on the touch 50 screen. As they are male ends it appears I need two Female by Female adapters (one HDMI and one USB) and the two standard cables to extend to the Cerbo GX (one HDMI and one USB ) standard Male by Male cables. The Cerbo CX has female ports. Do they need to be any specific version 3.0 or 3.1 on USB and 2,0 or better on HDMI cable? Please advise me what to get. I have Walmart and Office Depot available.

Also to tie the Multiplus to the Cerbo GX it appears I use the same RJ45 UTP cable I used for programing and plug it into both. I am just verifying what the diagrams on the Victron site are saying and from what I understand the Cerbo GX and Multiplus manuals are saying.

I find that a cheap and simple HDMI female to female adapter works best with a normal HDMI cable instead of HDMI splitter or HDMI extension cable."

Looks like a scavenger trip in town tomorrow - it will probably take 4 to 5 stores to find all the stuff I need. Are there any brands to stay away from?

Update
The extension cables do work.
This is what I used

Note: USB cable only supplies power to the Touch 50, so standard one works.

I taped the connections together so they would not come apart. Heat shrink would have probably been better.
