Hello All,
Wife and I have a 397TH and are looking to install solar, inverter, and enough batteries to at least power the fridge while driving. We don’t do a lot of dry camping but also want to have solar for keeping the batteries topped off while in storage. Currently we have the basic one battery with generator install. I believe the rig has been plumbed for solar but not installed.
We live in SW Virginia and our small dealer who did real well on the purchase of the rig seems uncomfortable with solar as I’ve asked twice for quotes to do the work without response.
The wife and I follow a couple of the YouTube folks and have seen Future Sales in Elkhart do an install. That’s an option BUT I’m curious if anyone has good experience with someone in the SW Virginia area, or within a couple hours? We are 4 hours or so from Knoxville, 3.5 hours from Richmond, 2 hours from Greensboro.
I would love to hear who you would recommend.
