  • TNFLineage is new to owning a motorized RV

aw, just for me? Don't I feel special. I'm blushing.
But really, many members here owned motorized previously and I can tap into their knowledge on what differences there may be. Right now I'm dreading the annual cost of plates here in Michigan. For a trailer there is ownly a one-time purchase of a permanent plate. Also maintenance costs, ie. trailers don't need oil changes, etc. It is a cost we've budgeted for though.

All those other expenses like plate renewal, oil changes etc were present for your tow vehicle, so I'm thinking not much change? Unless you kept your tow vehicle as well. Bigger carbon footprint...lol. Mines the size of a T-rex. quad, boat, tow vehicle, wife's car, old musclecar, Jeep for driving off road.....

I down sized from the F250 diesel Super Duty to a Maverick hybrid. The hybrid can be flat towed. So, instead of the pickup pulling the camper, I have the camper pulling the pickup.

I'm curious - What is the tow rating and the Gross Combined Weight Rating for the Lineage with that Mercedes chassis?

        Jim.

P.S. Your signature still shows "being built".

Not sure about the GCVWR by the tow capacity is only 3,500 pounds, which is light for the class. One of the few complaints I heard being tossed around at National.
