We left a little before 10:00, in our Explorer. We really enjoyed staying in the Lineage prototype and looking forward to Wed when we get ours.
Thanks for hosting our little get together on Monday, again good to put faces and names to the forum members.
Food was very good, including breakfasts. No need for lunch after that meal.

We missed one of the breakfasts but the others were pretty good.
The dinners were very good. I think Nelsons catering did a solid job. Feeding over 1000 people cant be an easy feat. The last night was especially good. The Mac and cheese was my favorite and the beef with smashed potatoes and mushroom gravy was perfect.
The only real disappointment was on the night where we had 4 choices from different vendors. We chose the pizza and were disappointed. It wasnt horrible but it was below average. The bar has been set pretty high lately and they missed it. No worries though, I made up for it at the pig roast.
I had a pulled pork sandwich from the food truck on Tuesday that was really good. The hot dog guy was just okay but considering $7 for a chili dog was disappointing. The wood fired pizza guy on Thursday was okay but the crust is very very thin and definitely not my favorite.

Yoda, I have had worse breakfasts but definitely wasn’t something to write home about. You know catering for that many in the first place can be a challenge. I am not even a breakfast buffet kind of guy so breakfast for a thousand is not on my favorites list. The food trucks this year were really good and were available at noon also. 😀👍

Looks like they changed the catering. Last year it was some other Amish business. Breakfast was usually some sort of Quiche and they were over cooked and burnt on the bottom. But good to hear otherwise. I do remember the pig roast and the options night - both pretty good. I was lucky and scrounged a good piece of cracklings and luckier that someone at the table we chose had some good hot BBQ sauce with them.

The one meal that still stands out in my mind was the one on the brown bag lunch Amish tour. Salisbury steak and chicken with all the fixings - wow!

Probably meals for more like 1500+ . . . when you consider over 600 rigs with 2+ people per trailer.

Outstanding, IMHO. Light years better than 2023 (which, frankly, were lousy).

Just got home to steamy So. California. Dropped the trailer off at GD and cannon balled home. Great meeting everyone at the Forum Gathering, nice putting faces to names and just chatting. This was our first National Rally and we had a great time and made many new friends. I thought the food was pretty decent considering the number of people and all the volunteers just did a fantastic job. Kudos to all of you that worked you rears off all week, Thank you!
