Example Below: Take measurements at the door opening to be sure you get the right length slide lock.

Our last rv had latches on the barn doors that held them in place. It seemed to work much better but every manufacturer is different. And i guess they go with what they can to keep down cost. Who knows?Bryan & Shelia

The door “stop” was sheered off, the elastic bands came loose, the door apparently swung back and forth destroying the thermostat and the light switch. Definitely a design flaw. Dealership appointment in a few weeks to repair damage and ensure doors stay securely in place. We used C clamps and rubber door stops as a precaution on the drive home from South Dakota.Nancy & Tim Pistole

I may be the only one who had to figure this out, but there are two stretchy parts of the band to secure the doors. The smaller one is just to use to pull the larger one over the hook/latch. I used the smaller one on the latch the first time. It fell loose during the drive but the door did stay in place. The band is pretty tight if you use the correct one. Of course, I realize it could snap.

We doubled up on the Stretch Loops and hooks to add some restraint in holding the doors open during travel. Ordered them from Grand Design and installed them in the center of the door.
Added them to the existing one on both the bedroom and bathroom Sliding barn Door:
Here are the added straps to the doors:
