Now that I have a couple hundred miles on the road with the 295rl on an Andersen Ultimate to B&W gooseball, my feelings are a little mixed. I towed "around the block" with a friend's Andersen, and liked it. I had to get on this trip I am on quickly, and ordered myself one. The original plan was the Gen Y, but due to backorder issues, I had to pass on it...for now. My question is, what are the different pinboxes folks are pulling with on the Andersen that smooths out the ride? The turning point/Andersen combo doesn't feel right to me, especially slowing to stops, and/or bumps and dips. I will also add I probably only have 500lbs worth of gear on 5'er, including full propane tanks, and half fresh water (ball park) making it probably a little pin light. I love the simplicity of the Andersen, along with the weight, which having previous back surgery, heavy hitches in bed are out. Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated, and being new to the 5th wheel world, I'll take all the help I can get. TV is a 22 Ram 2500 4x4 CC Diesel.
