  • Toy hauler Momentum G Class Fifth Wheel 328G

Does anyone currently tow anything behind their toy hauler Momentum G Class Fifth Wheel model 328G? We currently tow triples with a different model typical towing would be 4,200 pound boat or 12' enclosed trailer around 3,800 pounds. No I'm asking about or worried about length (still under) and I'm not worried about my tow vehicle (more than capable). Asking if the 5th wheel comes with a class 3 hitch on it or if it the frame is capable of handling the additional bumper tow and wight so I could add custom class 3 hitch

It doesn't appear to have an OEM hitch on the rear from all the pictures and specs I've reviewed. GDRV-Megan -- can you confirm for this member?

If it does not have an OEM-supplied hitch the frame OEM, Lippert, is your best go-to source for information about an add-on. Of course if anything is modified on the trailer that causes an issue there could (*might maybe could*) be a warranty issue so go into any modification with carefully and with "eyes wide open".

GD is super about taking care of it's customers, but if we do something (even with the best information and intentions) that damages the trailer they are not bound to fix it.

Sorry for the "soap box"--that's self-evident, isn't it? (Welcome to the forum, BTW!)

I'm sure you could, especially if you are not worried about warranty.

They don't come with hitches, because, they are toyhaulers.

No bumpers on toyhaulers because of the ramp door.

There is no hitch on the back of this unit. When I worked for LCI, something we would tell customers is that if your frame does not have the option to have a bumper or a hitch, then they would not install it on their frame without a signed consent of liability. I don't work there any longer, so I can't officially speak on behalf of them. I personally would not recommend adding the hitch, but that is up to your discretion. Based on your statement above, it looks like warranty isn't an issue. I will just warn you that altering the unit could affect the frame, which could lead to issues with your slide, upper deck, sidewalls, etc. Just some food for thought.
