Payload (how much the hitch can carry) is 300lbs. It can pull 3,000lbs. See this thread for more information: https://gdrvowners.com/forum/grand-d...2782#post12782

GDRV-Megan -- can you please verify the 287's hitch has the same rating as the 337RLS I'm quoting above? Thanks!

I have a rear mounted dirt bike holder for the back of my Reflection 303 RLS 5th wheel. The trailer came with a very heavy 2" receiver in the back. The weight limit on this hitch is as people are posting here and is on a sticker on the back of the trailer. However, when I had a bike in the received on a bike rack (this is a motorcycle, not a bicycle), it wobbled back and forth a bit due to the slop in the 2" receiver. No tie points back there to stop this either.

So, the mechanical engineer in me came out. I removed the receiver. This left two holes in the left and right frame of the trailer. I think they were 5/8". Anyway, I went online and purchased two 2" receiver tubes, about 1.5 feel long. I measured for the 5/5" holes and drilled them into these tubes. Mounted both tubes, one to each frame. Now instead of having one 2" receiver in the middle, I have a much lighter solution with two 2" receivers directly mounted to the frame. I then bought some 2" stock square steel bar (what they make hitches out of that plug into the 2" receiver. They are about 3' long each, one on each side. I placed them in each receiver such that they stick out of the back of the trailer. I took the rail that the bike sits in and mounted it to these tubes. Now the bike sits stable and does not rock. The tubes stick out about 1 foot from the bike rail, giving me a place to add tie down loops on front and back. The bike cannot go anywhere.

As long as I was in manufacturing mode, I also added a square frame to hold my gas can.

For safety, I also added trailer lights to my bike rack and put a trailer plug back there. When the bike was mounted in the rack, ir mostly blocked the RV trailer lights, which is not legal, at least not in California. Took all the pieces to my local powder coater and had them power coated to a nice flat black color.

Anyone needing a 2" center receiver for their Reflection 303 RLS, I have one now by the side of the house. Very heavy, though, so shipping would likely cost a bunch. I am in the SF bay area though, so it could be picked up.
