  • Imagine XLS 22MLE - coupler height and frame size questions

    Hello!

New guy here ... I have a couple questions about the 2020 Imagine XLS 22MLE. My wife and I just purchased one, and we pick it up on Friday. Ahead of pickup, I am researching weight distribution hitches and have a couple questions to determine the right-sized Andersen hitch setup. I'm hoping that someone with a 22MLE or at GD can provide the following trailer measurements (when leveled):

    1) height from the ground to the bottom of the coupler
    2) height of the frame
    3) height from the ground to the top of the frame

    See photos for reference.

Need the details above to select the right bracket size and 4" vs 8" drop/rise hitch.

    Thanks,
    Jared

Based on my level here’s what I came up with:
    1.) 22 1/2”
    2.) 5”
    3.) 24 1/2”

I’m about to order the Andersen model 3350 for my Ram 1500 after measurements.

I hope you'll come back and write a review of your experience with that combination. I'm sure there will be many folks interested in how it works out for you.

To close out this topic for others - I ended up with the Andersen 3350 (4" drop/rise and 2-5/16" ball) for our 2020 22MLE and stock 2001 F250
