I have found hitches by CURT and marketed by Etrailer that attach to the frame at the rear of the trailer. Does anyone have any experience with these? How does the additional weight effect the rig? I would like to take a 270lb scooter with us and the carrier weighs 100lb.

I installed a Curt 13703 on my 303RLS.
Very well made product.
The hitch weighs 100lbs, so you’d be adding almost 500lbs way back there. That would concern me.
Do you tow with a pickup? If so, I’d think hauling in the bed would be a better option.John & Kathy
