Is going w/ gooseneck hitch ball good idea

    I wanted to add, I took a piece on 1/2" foam and wrapped it around the hitch ball then put a piece of 1'2" water line foam insulation in the top, I taped yellow tape around it to use as a aide in hitching. I now can put this on the ball of the truck back up till it just hits pin box and Im right over the connection of the Anderson hitch. My truck I cant see over the rear set to see alinement this works great if anyone has the same issues.

      I have the issue of being unable to see my Andersen ball/hitch cup either out the rear window or with the bed-facing camera. I’m having a bit of trouble envisioning your foam set-up. Could you possibly post a couple of pictures of it?

      First came the 18' Comfort bumper-pull, was great for 20 years.
      Now a 2019 Reflection 303RLS, second air, double glass, table and chairs

          Here is my setup, Just line this up when backing in till you hit the pin box and your good to go. This is just a sheet of 1/4" foam wrapped around the ball with tape. Once your lined up just pull it off the ball.

            I wonder if a piece of a pool Noodle would work for that. Great idea.

              I tried but to small to fit over ball, I'm actually going to do just that, Ill cut this down and stuff a nice yellow pool noodle in the end.

                Here is the $2.00 noodle I had to open one end to fit ball but wifes bread knife did the trick,
