  • New TV - Ram 3500

Me and Mrs skreef wanted to get a bigger trailer (a 5th wheel) and our Nissan Titan was not going to cut it. Back in January I started looking around for a HD truck. Ended up doing a factory order of a Ram. From order date to dealer delivery was about 11 weeks. Here she is:

Ram 3500 6.4 Hemi, 4x4 crew cab, short bed
    GVWR 11,000
    Max Towing 14,525
    CCC 4025
    GCWR 21,500

        Great truck.

I saw one this weekend with an extended crew cab at the State Fairgrounds campground, but we probably won't get a new one.

          ckreef ,
Does it have the self-leveling air system? I saw a YouTube video on a Ram and it was quite intriguing.

I want to see this in person! We've got to figure out something for next week...

Congrats Charles and Sue! I was just looking at F250's this afternoon. That RAM will sure pull your Imagine with no trouble at all. Hoping to catch up with you guys either at Mountain View or at the Annual Rally.
If you end up buying a Rig at Lazy Days Sefner (Tampa) let me know, I'll run over there (was there today) to see you guys, it's about 35 min from our house. Be Well. Dave and Sue, St. Pete

howson Howard, been thinking about the self leveling air system for those with bags. It really would not be that hard to setup a wobble stick sensor that turns the compressor on when the rear gets too low and opens a dump valve when it gets too high. Most of those sensors are 2 NO contacts. Easy to set them up for what you want, I would put an off switch on the system so it does not cycle when going over bumps, along with a manual dump to make unhitching much easier.
