I ordered a 2020 Solitude 310GK-R last week along with a 2020 F-350 with the Tremor package. I'm getting the new disc brake option from Grand Design. Grand Design will move the RV to MORryde after it's built to have them install their IS suspension system. After that, Grand Design will transport the RV to my dealer in Oregon. Sounds like a decent plan so far, right? The problem is my truck has the new Tremor package which includes a factory 2" lift. I actually do a fair amount of off road driving and the new Tremor package is a good compromise between a full blown off road rig like a Raptor and a regular Superduty.
Of course, the 2" lift is where my problems begin. I'm trying to figure out what height to set the MORryde suspension at but nobody has a 2020 F-350 with the Tremor package in stock so I can't measure how high the bed rails really are compared to a non-Tremor truck. Plus, I don't have my hitch yet and have no idea how much sag there will be on the truck suspension. I know the proper way to do this is to have the tow vehicle at the factory so MORryde can measure everything. But, we live in Oregon and that's pretty inconvenient. MORryde says they can do a max 2" lift on their suspension. I wouldn't want to go higher than that because the Solitude is already tall.
My question - would you guys have MORryde add 2" and just see how things look when the RV gets to Oregon? Or, would you drive the 4,000 miles round trip to have the truck at MORryde for proper measurements prior to having the IS work done?
BTW, as I'm typing this, I'm thinking I may be doing a very long drive this spring to Indiana...
