If you hear squeaking from the hitch it's normal during the break in period as the rubber in the torsion hinge need to get used to moving with weight on them. Mine stopped squeaking around 300 miles.David and Deana

I am impressed - the engineer in me got the calculations wrong, unless the Ram is different from the center of axle (goose neck mount) to the rear of the truck.as on the Ford.
You have better tailgate clearance to the trailer than I have. I really appreciate the write up., This will help a lot of others with the decision.
Please post on your towing performance as I am sure it will help others - Great Job

I took a short 12 mile trip around the block and my initial impression is wow! Since I’m coming from a 100% rigid connection I immediately noticed a significant improvement , I can only imagine how nice it will be once broken in.
