  • Ratings Article #1: Basic Vehicle and Travel Trailer Weight Ratings

The attached PDF is from a PowerPoint presentation. It is the first of a series that will attempt to cover the aspects an owner should (must?) understand to know they are within their tow vehicle and travel trailer (“bumper pull”) OEM rated specifications.

Each slide (and presentation) builds on the previously presented information. Subsequent slides assume the reader comprehends and can apply that understanding.

Not every aspect of a given topic will be explained on a slide—remember this first presentation is basic information and is not meant to be comprehensive, but foundational.

Change Log (most current change is at the top of the list)
12 Jul: v2 posted. Fixed orientation of camper on first page. Entry door is still on the wrong side in other pics in the presentation.
    12 Jul: Posted v1.

Forum moderators are not GD employees--we are volunteers and owners presumably just like yourself. Unless specifically mentioned otherwise, we have nothing to gain should you choose to purchase a product or engage a service we discuss on this forum.
