  • Looking to buy the reflection 31mb

Hello everyone. We are looking at purchasing the 2020 reflection 31mb and would like some answers to a few questions. As well as some feed back on how everyone likes theirs.
Does anyone know the weight limit for each bunk bed?
Is the refrigerator both gas and electric?
Is anyone here towing with a gooseneck conversion or adapter on theirs?
And just over all experience with yours so far.
    thank you all!

    Hi Ashley,
I'm not familiar with the 31MB but want to welcome you to the forum.

GDRV-Megan -- can you answer this prospective customer's questions?

Does anyone know the weight limit for each bunk bed? - perhaps Megan can answer this for you.
Is the refrigerator both gas and electric? - yes - it's an RV absorption refrigerator that runs on either propane or 120VAC (requires 12VDC for controls either way).
Is anyone here towing with a gooseneck conversion or adapter on theirs? - true gooseneck conversions on fifth wheel RVs are a VERY BAD choice due to torsional forces and the way the frames are designed.. Something like the Reese Goosebox would be OK.
And just over all experience with yours so far.
      thank you all!

GDRV-Megan or GDRV-Emily -- can you help out Ashley with her questions? Note a forum member has addressed the gooseneck conversion question (one that I'm sure you can't comment on).

Ashley18 I have been told that the weight limit for our bunks is 250 lbs per bed. There is sometimes a weight capacity sticker on the stile located near the beds.

Ashley18 Good morning! Looks like a lot of people are giving you great info on your questions. I have asked for the weight limit jut to confirm it... As soon as I have it I will get it over on this thread.

The refer, yes can be used with gas and elec. The only approved gooseneck adapter style hitch would be the Reese Goosebox. It has been tested by LCI heavily, and is the ONLY gooseneck style system that is safe to use with their chassis.

The 31 MB is one of my all time FAVORITES! i am so excited you are looking at this model. I love the long hall leading to the master BR up front. This allows so much privacy for the parents to get away and watch what they want on TV... or to nap Love the barn door and all the small features on this one.

Again, as soon as I have the weight info.... I will let you know!

            Thanks howson

If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask. I joined a Grand Design-focused forum over 6 months before I finally purchased my 315RLTS. Participating by reading threads and asking questions is a great way to get familiar with GD units.

howson that's kind of where we're at now. We we're a bit quick to buy or current trailer so trying to be sure about the second one as we intend to keep. I want to make sure we know everything we can not just what the salesmen say.

Totally understand. With apologies to the salespeople on this forum, verify everything you're told!
