Are you buying from a dealer or an individual?

I would think that with the price of the warranty you could save your money and pay for whatever expense may happen. I have learned with some of the extended warranties that the fine print will some times get the warranty company off the hook. The " Forever Warranty" that some dealers sell requires that the owner get there unit inspected by the dealer once a year , at the owners cost I think. The inspection is to be the entire RV so that everything is kept in order. If you do not do the inspection the warranty is no good.

My .02: spend the money to have any rig you are considering purchasing professionally inspected by an independent, certified RV Inspector. (Google is your friend.) If the "bones" are good, you shouldn't need an extended warranty.

After some thorough research I found one with a price, payment plan and coverage that I can live with. I’m kind of hooked on warranties. I just bought this 2016 dodge ram 2500 in May. I bought an extended warranty with it and not 10 days later the turbo actuator went out. It was a $2700 repair covered by the extended warranty. So I’m quite comfortable having that little bit of added security. Thanks guys I appreciate all your info. And by the way I didn’t get A professional independent inspection. Can I get a professional inspector to come out with me when I take delivery on the 30th of this month before I say yes.
