  • Rear door on 376TH

Hello all. I have had our 376th for roughly 2 years, (2019 model). When i first looked at one of these new, it seemed like the back door lifted effortlessly. I now have to use a lot of effort to stop it when it opens and same when trying to lift it. I have lubed all the hinge points and it didn't seem to make a difference. Do the lift springs lose their tension this quick? Is there a way to adjust them? I noticed little plastic sleeves on the ends of the springs and was also wondering if I replaced them with something thicker, if that would add enough tension to help. Maybe I am just getting older and weaker
Any help or advise is appreciated.

The one on our 374TH has always been 'heavy' although it hasn't gotten any worse. I have seen where some people have added a 3rd spring though.
