Hey all.

How to request a repair at GD?
A few years ago a certain hubby ignored a certain wife while backing up and collided with a post at the rear corner, tearing off the marker light and damaging metal skirting. We had the metal replaced at a Quartzsite rally, but tech indicated that back of RV was pushed aside about an inch and metal would likely buckle soon..which it has now distorting up the side too. We are ok to pay for repairs but want it done by GD, if at all possible.

Welcome to the forum. Beachcamper (Vivian) is the first person that comes to mind as I know she's used the factory service center a few times. The moderators were just at the new facility and it's impressive.

I'm sure Vivian will see that tag ("tags" and other info is explained in the Welcome Letter) but if time is of the essence consider giving GD Customer Service a call. They can point you in the right direction, too.

TheLilyPad yes, GD will give you a quote for repairs not under warranty. You need to call customer service and let them know you want to get a factory estimate for repairs. They also work with insurance carriers. It’s a long wait to get an appointment but I think it is worth it.
