Is anyone else having this problem with the top trim of your Schwintek slides abrading the slide seals? These are the worst but somewhat typical of all 3 of our Schwintek slides. Happening on both front and back of the slides.

Use plasti dip and a small brush to coat the screw head could help. Or see if you could switch to a flat head screw vs the pan head .
This is a good idea. I have tried a thin rubber tape and have still gotten the same results. The issue is the drive motor is right in this same area and there is not a lot of space between the motor and the screw head. If you feel along the seal up and down you will be able to get you fingers between the slide and the edge of the wall until you get to the top where the motor is. If they would install a flat head screw and counter sink the it into the stip then the problem would be solved. I have not got this far yet but on my "to do" list this winter.

I will be addressing this at our next warranty appointment but I think in the long run I may countersink the holes and switch to a countersunk head of some sort. I am sure it will just keep occurring if nothing changes.
