Crack in Plastic/Vinyl insert in pass through storage area

the black plastic/vinyl insert in the pass through storage area is cracked. Does it need to be replaced or is there a product can can fix it. I used black gorilla tape as temporary fix. 1st time out with 2018 Reflection and it appears item in storage area moved in transit and caught the black plastic lip where it meets storage area and pushed it through one of the screws and then about a 2 inch crack down the side. Disappointed in the design of using plastic/vinyl in that area.

I'd say your repair looks just fine to me. I certainly wouldn't go out and buy a replacement unless it was no longer usable. BTW, you'll find these same boxes industry wide.

If still under warranty I would have GD send you a new one. Check the other side also. I have seen the attachment screws tightened to much and cracked the plastic as well.
