  • Thermostat issue

When I set the thermostat in the bedroom to fan only with a low temp setting, it still blows hot air through the register. No, it's not set in the heat mode. Am I missing something?

Do you hear the furnace running when you use that setting?

What exactly is being referenced when the term "register" is used? Furnace registers are near the floor, usually in the wall of a GDRV, island, or other spot near the floor. (Would help to know what you own.) The ducts in the ceiling are for the air conditioner--which could also be a heat pump. Again, would help to know your year and model of GDRV.
