  • Water heater on 2014 29RS Reflection

Not sure where to turn. No hot water at taps but if I open the pressure valve or drain valve, water is hot. System is an Atwood

Sounds like it’s on “bypass”. Which is used for winterizing. On my rig, the bypass valve is on the Nautilus panel. If you don’t have a nautilus panel it should be near the back side of the water heater.

I'm going to guess it's the outlet valve stuck closed. Easy to change.

A 2014 is going to have an Anderson Kantleak water system. This is a bit of a different arrangement than the Nautilus system on more recent trailers. On your panel, there will be a main 4 way selector to the left and a water heater bypass selector to the right. The first thing to check is that the valve to the right is in the correct position. The next thing to check is that the outside shower valves are turned off. (This can dilute the hot water going to the fixtures).

The Kantleak system does not have a check valve on the water heater outlet.
