We are thinking of purchasing a Solitude. Wondered about storage area for a generator. What’s the largest size generator that will fit in underbelly storage?

What size generator are you considering? There's the practical aspect of lifting and removing it, too. A popular portable is the Champion 3400 dual-fuel but it's not light at almost 100 lbs. I have a smaller 2000W dual-fuel, but of course with the limited output it restricts what can be powered at a given time.

Another option is to buy two of the smaller dual-fuels and a parallel kit.

Either way you go most fifth wheels will have a lot of storage space. (It's usually not the space, it's the weight of all the "stuff" we want to carry. Knowing the trailer's cargo-carrying capacity is important to not go overweight.)

Just to let you know that Solitudes have an option of having an onboard generator that is in the front storage, this does not include the S class Solitude.
