mounting a safe in the interior storage of the R.V.
Just wondering my husband is trying to find somewhere in the trailer to mount a small lightweight safe.... Not sure where the wiring runs and the plumbing inside the walls or floors? Any suggestions?
This is a difficult question to advise on . . . because there are so many variables. Surface mounted and bolted down? Inset and hidden behind something? Wall? Shelf? Floor? Looking at you floor plan, I would be thinking somewhere in the forward closet laundry area. An interior wall would be preferable since this will have wooden studs and no insulation. Exterior walls have thin-wall aluminum framing and solid foam insulation . . . so more difficult to securely fastened to.
