Mounting bedroom TV on exterior wall

Hi Everyone

I'm preparing to mount my TV in the bedroom of my Imagine 2600RB. The "TV Backer Location" Sticker is on an exterior wall and I'm certain the "Lag Screws" that came with the mounting kit are too long. What is the thickness of the exterior walls in my camper and how long of screws should I use to be sure not to compromise my exterior seal?
