  • Lippert Rear Jack Doesn't Retract Completly

I change my rear jacks to the shorter jacks. One side retract all the way, the other jack stops 1-1 1/2" short. GD is telling me that it is normal for a jack to stop just short of being retracted all the way. I tried to manually retract the jack the rest the way, but to would go any further. Is mentioned in several posts here and other places, these back jacks are low. I gained 3-4" on one side, and 2 1/2-3 on the other side. Any suggestions on how I can get the one jack retracted the rest of the way?

Mine, when retracted, look more like the one on the left with a little bit showing. I think the difference is the length of the jack tube, maybe one is cut shorter than the other.
