Greystone electric fireplace on/off button not working

I have a Greystone 26" electric fireplace Model #WF2613L. The on/off button is not working. Is it possible to replace the switch or board it might be attached to? How can this be done.

Hi Dave,

We have the same electric fireplace. Do you still have all functions using the remote? Try turning off the fireplace breaker (or disconnecting the shore power cord). This seems to reset the controls on the fireplace.

I had forgotten about the remote. After replacing the battery, all functions appear to work. I tried turning the breaker off and back on. That made no difference. I don't feel any tactile response to pushing the on/off like I do with the other functions. If there is not a relatively easy fix for the on/off, I may just rely on the remote.

The lack of tactile “click” is a good indicator that this switch has failed. Using the remote will be a good “work around”.
