Bedroom TV in 397

I would like to swap the bedroom and garage TV’s but the mount in the bdr doesn’t extend out far enough to allow the larger garage TV to be used due to it not clearing the window valance. Wondering if anyone else has successfully been able to swap the TV’s and how you did it?

I've got a Solitude 310GK and I swapped the bedroom TV out & put in a Samsung TV. I removed the valance & just left the roller curtain thingy. I removed the TV mount & install a different one. I also had to drill new holes in the TV backing plate to fit the mounting holes in the Samsung... works fine.
