I'm an owner of a new 2020 303RLS fifth wheel. I researching options for installing a wifi extender/booster and the best way to route wiring from the roof to the interior where the router can be powered etc. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice or experience to share.
Thanks
Based on pictures of that model on the GD website, I'd probably go through the roof in either the cabinet above the rear couch, or above the bed (if you can clear the front cap in that area). Which one is best would depend upon where you want the equipment mounted. Power in those locations is another issue, but some boosters can be run on 12v power so you might be able to tap off of a nearby lighting circuit (both cabinets seem to have lighting near by).
If you don't want to run a permanent installation (we've found in 5 years of full time travel that a booster is only necessary / helpful about 5% of the time), you could temporarily run the cord through a slide when needed.
