Could you remove the 2 screws and pull the handle out and post a couple pictures of it?
It may just be stuck.

Yeah I did. The inside screw hole is broken. The entire top of the door plastic has to be replaced.
The few times I've been to the dealer I've see service guys carrying these very same doors to RV's being serviced. I figure it's quite a job.
It's in warranty but that'll mean a long drive and a week in the shop.
If it is a known issue at your dealer have them get the parts to fix then they can fix it when you bring it in , or send the parts to you to fix. Waiting on parts and dealers are the worst things about owning an RV.

I'd be interested what you find out. I'm out of warranty. Both my left refrig door and left freezer door have the same issue. We never slam the doors.. always gently close til "click". I've taken to epoxying the broken thread bodies twice. Works for a while and then breaks again. Sounds like it is happening to a few people. Naturally, I'd like it to be addressed.
