The oven pilot has been progressively lighting harder. Looked through the topics and didn’t find reasons so I thought I’d post what I found. It really was simple enough after pulling the rack and heat shield out. The sparker wire was touching the metal of the oven so it was sparking there rather out at the pilot. Got the wire clear and now the sparker sparks in front of the pilot and then the oven lights. If/when the wire moves I will insulate it better. All is good again.
