The purpose of this post is to document, for owners with trailers equipped with heating pads, information that may not be in your Owners Manual. The information here is specific to a 2021 Reflection 315RLTS, but likely is very similar to other GD products (though there may be slight differences).
Identification
The Parts Lookup Website (link on menu bar above) for the 2021 315RLTS, under Electrical, lists a Tank Heater Pad. GD's part number is unique to them alone, but it's known that the pad is a ThermaHeat SL-ST725. (See abbreviated owner's manual with just that model's info attached.)
Performance
POWER
GD wired the heater pads through a 30A single-purpose auto-reset breaker. For a 315RLTS that breaker is behind the battery and front cross-member, underneath the trailer (with all the other auto-reset breakers).
From there power for the pads is sent to a relay.
When the applicable switch on the Convenience Center is turned on, the relay is closed and power is applied to the pads. At that point the pads, through their own thermostats, control whether they are on or off.
SUMMARY
If there's a power switch on the Convenience Center, your trailer has the heating pads. No switch, probably no pads.

- The 12v used to activate the relay is after the battery disconnect, which means that with the battery disconnect off (key removed) the heating pads will not work, regardless of the heating pad switch position on the Convenience Center panel.
