  • Furrion AC Unit Too Tall

The Furrion AC unit on our Imagine 2400BH is 2" too tall for us to fit our trailer under the car port aluminum trusses. We're looking to install a low profile AC unit (Dometic??). Does anyone know exactly we need in order to swap out the AC unit and tie into the current thermostat so that everything runs as designed?

The thermostat for the Furrion AC also runs the furnace. If you swap to Dometic you will have to include the Dometic thermostat as well. You will also need the interior pieces for the Dometic as well as make sure that you get a ducted unit. I am not sure of all the part numbers that you need but if you call a vendor they should get you everything you need.

I would either raise the carport, if you can, or dig out the floor to make room, again if you can.

Tiff&Scott Depending on how the carport is made, is it possible to increase the opening in the front to get the unit in without having to modify all of the roofing supports?

      What about smaller tires?
