Cate&Rob Thanks for the information. Once the outside temps went above freezing and stayed there for a couple hours the line going to the fresh tank thawed and the pump was able to pull from it.
I would like to drop the underbelly and at least put some insulation around the pipe. Am thinking about possible putting a heated cable over the line in conjunction with a thermostat that can be activated on those cold nights. Something like this:
