  • Air Admittance Valve location - 265bh

Hello everyone, long time lurker, first post. I've been reading here about the shower smell phenomenon and I was going to replace the aav.

The one in the bathroom is easy to find. However, I can't seem to find the one under the kitchen sink. It just goes to the p-trap and then to a diagonal pipe.

Pictures are attached of underneath the kitchen one.

Also for those that replaced theirs.. is it just me or is this bathroom one a tad bit close to the wall?

Appreciate your time and input. Thank you!

If the upper end of that diagonal pipe leads to the vent stack to the roof, no AAV is required.

H22EG8 -- Cate&Rob is spot on. The "DWV Plan" shows the horizontal pipe leading to a vent that goes to the roof. (The drawing also shows just one AAV in your trailer, which as you found is under the bathroom sink.)
