  • 312bhts Reflection Suspected black tank/flush connection issue

During my black tank flush tonight I put roughly 30 gals of water in the tank, more than I normally do(15-20gals). Now I am hearing water dripping when running the black tank flush on the underbelly matting. Is there a decently close layout of a 312BHTS so I don't have to drop the entire underbelly and investigate?

No leaking from roof vents, or crossing to any of the grey tanks. According to all my paperwork I should have had at least another 10ish + gallons before we overfilled the tank.

The end of the black tank with the flush connection will be strait in from the discharge connection where you connect the drain hose to. You could drop the edge near there to see the tank and possibly see where the leak is coming from.

Yeah I started the dropping strategically so that I didn't wear any extra liquids 🤢😁

Today I am getting a slow drip only when I try and use the black flush out. It is coming from on top of the tank which should limit the upper tank seal/weld, toilet connection, and vent connection.....Correct?!?!

trkyslyr What about the vacuum breaker? Maybe it failed and the leak has nothing to do with tank. Look behind the shower faucets for the black tank valve and observe while running water through the flush.

I pulled the lower skirting off the rig and it is coming from on top of the tank and below the sub floor I just need to know what all is connected up there before I go all out and tear out a bunch of things for no reason. I have pulled the lower skirting off the inside bathroom floor to look in if i could. I have removed the drawers from the bedroom to try and find the blank tank flush-fitting. It would be super nice to have a drawing or as build of the tank and how things get connected in the rig for the blank tank.

There are four attachments to a black tank. The drain gate valve. The 3" ABS line from the toilet to the top of the tank. The 1 1/2" ABS vent stack to the top of the tank. The flush fitting in the end wall. Well, more if you count the level sensor probes. For a leak from from the "top of the tank" the likely culprits are the grommets around the 3" or 1 1/2" ABS . . . but if this did not happen at 100% full, the flush fitting is a possibility as are the higher level probes.
