Can you sit in a closed slide?

We have a 22RBE with recliners. Watched a video that cautioned that sitting in a retracted slide can cause damage due to lack of support. Is this possible?

I have heard the same thing. The floor is only supported when the slide is fully extended. I also seen where an owner made shim blocks to fit under the slide floor when the slide is in so they could use the table. The only thing to make sure of with that is you remove the shim blocking before you operate the slide.
